Make sure to register before 15 September 2023. The program start date is 02 October 2023 (please note that the training start date is subject to change, and the selection period will be adjusted accordingly). Program duration is approximately 31 weeks.

What is required for training:

  • Basic knowledge of Relational Database Management System (DBMS) theory 
  • Understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) 
  • English level from Upper-Intermediate (B2) and higher 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in banking and technical spheres
  • Basic knowledge of Python
How to get started?
  1. Register on this page till September 15. Once you fill in all the required fields and attach the CV, you will find the confirmation with more details in your mailbox or notifications tab. 
  2. Take the English test available in your profile. You should reach B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level result to proceed.
  3. Prepare for a technical interview. These materials will help you upgrade your data skills.
  4. Wait for a recruiter to contact you. We will contact you within 1-3 weeks after you pass the English test (reached B2 level) to ask some general questions and to check your background. We will get back to you with the interview outcome within a few days.
  5. Pass an online technical interview. After a successful discussion with a recruiter, we'll contact you to schedule call with technical interviewer. For about 1.5 hours, you will have an interview with a production specialist where you can showcase your current data knowledge.
  6. Get access to the preparatory part of the training. Upon registration, you will get study materials regardless of the selection process so you can start studying before the program start date (link will be available after registration).
  7. Receive an invitation to the program and do your best. Congratulations on your progress! If selected, you'll receive an invitation to the program. We'll inform you of the enrollment result and provide further instructions within 1-2 weeks after the technical interview.

What will you learn?

STAGE 1: Data Analytics Start+ Program

This stage lasts 3 months and requires ~12 hours of weekly engagement. You will explore self-study materials, complete assigned tasks and discuss your questions with our mentors at regular Q&A sessions. 

DB Basics

  • Introduction to OLAP. OLAP vs OLTP

Technical Interview

 

STAGE 2: Data Lab

If you show good results in the first stage and successfully pass a technical interview, we will invite you to the Data Lab. It usually lasts 3.5 months and requires ~20 hours of weekly engagement. You will learn to organize information, build visualization, check data quality and get acquainted with cloud technologies

Technical Interview


Upon program completion, you may be able to continue your career path according to demonstrated skills and available opportunities at EPAM.

  • This training is available only for citizens of Hungary and specialists relocated to this country with work permits in Hungary.
  • The program start date may change, so the selection period may be adjusted accordingly. Please regularly check for updates on this page and via email.
