Data Analytics Engineering is about turning raw data into valuable business insights. It includes data collecting, storing, processing, validation and visualization.

What is required for training:

  • Basic understanding of Relational Database Management System (DBMS) theory
  • Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • English proficiency at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher

Nice to have:

  • Degree from a technical university or other educational institution with a technical specialization
  • Experience in banking and technical spheres
  • Basic knowledge of Python
How to get started?
  1. Register: Sign up on this page, fill in the required fields in your user profile and attach your CV (mandatory). You'll receive a confirmation email with more details in your mailbox or notifications tab.
  2. Specify your interest: In your profile's "Additional information" section, share your reasons for choosing this training and expectations.
  3. Take the English Test on your profile within 3 days after registration. You should demonstrate B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher to proceed further.
  4. Prepare for a Technical Interview: These materials will help you upgrade your data skills.
  5. Pass an Interview with Recruiter: After successfully passing the English test, we'll contact you within 1-3 weeks. Expect some general questions and a background check.
  6. Pass an Online Technical Interview: After successfully passing the General Interview, we'll contact you to schedule a call with technical interviewer. Engage in a 1.5-hour online conversation with our production specialist and showcase your current data knowledge.
  7. Start studying the preparatory part of the training. Regardless of the selection process, you may delve into technical introduction courses by following the link in the post-registration email.

Receive Program Invitation: If you are selected, you will receive an invitation to join the program. We will inform you of the enrollment result and provide further instructions.

What will you learn?

Our program is divided into two stages to offer you an enriching learning experience:


Stage 1: 3-month journey

At this stage, you'll dive into self-study materials and fascinating assignments. With just ~12-15 hours of weekly commitment, you can easily manage your learning at your own pace. Our mentors will be available for regular Q&A sessions. You'll master the following topics:

DB Basics

  • Data. Database. DBMS 
  • DB Components 
  • DB Modeling 
  • Normalization 

 SQL Fundamentals

  • SELECT Statement 
  • DML Statements (Data Manipulation Language) 
  • TCL Statements (Transaction Control Language) 
  • DDL Statements (Data Definition Language) 
  • DCL Statements (Data Control Language) 

 SQL for Analysis

  • Introduction to OLAP. OLAP vs OLTP 
  • Window Functions / Frames

Technical interview


Stage 2: Data Lab adventure

Once you successfully pass a technical interview, you'll be invited to the Data Lab. This engaging phase typically lasts 3.5 months, requiring ~30 hours of weekly involvement. Get ready to explore:

  • Python 
  • Introduction to Data Warehousing and ETL 
  • PostgreSQL DB for Data Warehouse and ETL 
  • DWH/ETL live project presentation (practice and theory)
  • AWS 
  • Power BI 
  • Data Quality  

Technical Interview


Upon completing the program, a world of opportunities awaits you! You'll be equipped with the skills and knowledge to pursue your career path in alignment with your demonstrated expertise. 

Please read this info before registration

Here is some additional important information:


  • Active participants of ЕРАМ University and EPAM System company Employees are not allowed to register for the training. Please contact your Manager regarding the positions available.
  • Considering the limited number of program slots, the selection results will be decisive factor for being enrolled.
  • Training is available only for people located in Poland.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen and want to participate in Data Engineering Lab, it is required that you have free access to the Polish labor market and can provide one of the following documents to EPAM:

a) permanent residence permit (zezwolenie na pobyt stały)

b) EU long-term residence permit (zezwolenie na pobyt rezydenta długoterminowego Unii Europejskiej)

c) temporary residence permit, granted in relation to your reunion with your family staying in Poland legally (zezwolenie na pobyt czasowy, na podstawie połączenia z rodziną legalnie przebywającą w Polsce

d) refugee status based on the decision of the Office of Foreigners (status uchodźcy)

e) subsidiary protection status based on the decision of the Office of Foreigners (ochrona uzupełniająca)

f) humanitarian residence permit or a permit for tolerated stay (zgoda na pobyt ze względów humanitarnych lub zgoda na pobyt tolerowany)

g) temporary residence permit based on marriage to a Polish citizen (zezwolenie na pobyt czasowy na podstawie związku małżeńskiego z obywatelem polskim)
